The Applications Development Associate supports programming, testing, and analysis duties and tasks. This role performs tasks within planned durations to meet established deadlines. It provides coding, testing, and/or analysis for basic applications.

Collaborate with teams to ensure effective communications and support achievement of objectives. Provide support for applications and business functions. Contribute to identification and reporting of defects in work products.

Assist with documentation including requirements, test and defect data, variances, and problem resolution. Perform activities of lower complexity under close supervision. UPS commits to a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Requirements

Knowledge of Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration
Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation
Experience with basic application coding and testing
Ability to perform analysis on data workflows
Familiarity with defect reporting and documentation processes
Understanding of data engineering principles for ETL processes
Skills in supporting business functions through applications
