About this role

Join Perficient as a DevOps GCP Engineer in LATAM, working a schedule close to PST (9am-5pm). You will be a key player in all aspects of Salesforce infrastructure and release management lifecycle. Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines while ensuring health and scalability of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Develop, deploy, and manage applications and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and AWS. Engineer robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for automated provisioning. Implement monitoring and alerting with DataDog alongside automation scripts in Python or Shell.

Collaborate closely with development teams, QA engineers, and architects for smooth application delivery. Ensure adherence to software development best practices and manage cloud networking components like protocols and firewalls. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and champion new DevOps tools and GCP advancements.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, ELB, ASG)
Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipeline implementation with Jenkins
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and solid Networking knowledge (protocols, firewalls)
Experience with monitoring/observability tools preferably DataDog
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation
English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities
