The role centers on building modern Machine Learning systems for demand planning and budget forecasting while developing scalable data infrastructures. You will also deliver custom AI solutions that optimize cloud-based systems and apply Generative AI to create higher-quality ads for e-commerce platforms and retailers.

You will join an open team of data nerds who take ownership and maintain a positive mindset. Our partnerships with Amazon Web Services, Astronomer, and Databricks give the team access to leading tools and platforms for every project.

Requirements

High proficiency in Python with a strong emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Solid understanding and practical application of software development principles, including collaborative coding and version control using Git.
Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning theory with the ability to understand and implement new techniques from academic literature.
Creative and analytical mindset with a talent for proposing novel solutions to challenging problems.
Excellent ability to distill complex quantitative findings into clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, overseeing project execution and facilitating their professional growth.
Architect and implement robust, high-quality code in Python, enforcing best practices for software development and version control using Git.
Deploy and monitor machine learning projects in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance over time.
Translate complex business challenges into clear data science frameworks and project plans.
Conduct in-depth research and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights.
Effectively communicate findings and the value of data science solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Guide junior team members in developing their presentation skills and confidence in sharing their work.
Proactively identify and propose innovative data-driven opportunities and approaches to add value to the business.
