Requirements

Solid understanding of building data pipelines and relevant frameworks and processes
Experience in using SQL and data wrangling frameworks in Python
Experience with large datasets, cloud environments, and scalable solutions
Knowledge of data engineering solutions offered by MS Azure
Strong problem solving abilities, analytical skills and a passion for client-centric work
Curiosity for working on complex economic issues in a multidisciplinary environment
Excellent academic record with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a quantitative field with a plausible connection to data engineering
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients and colleagues to build auditable, repeatable and efficient data pipelines in a compliant way, adhering to best-practice in data security using local and cloud infrastructure
Ensure project teams have access to high quality data throughout a project’s lifecycle by designing data pipelines, collecting data, wrangling and validating data, and conceiving effective data architectures
Build robust, scalable solutions using modern data engineering practices
Develop and maintain documentation to make data accessible to colleagues
Support colleagues with embedding datasets and data tools within their projects regardless of the size and type of data they need
