About this role

The BI Developer plays a critical role in bridging day-to-day operational knowledge with data-driven insights. This involves capturing, collating, analysing and visualising data from various source systems. It supports decision-making across the organisation on an 18 Month Fixed-Term contract.

Gain deep insight into business operations, workflows, and factors driving performance. Work with stakeholders to capture operational and regulatory needs. Convert them into scalable data and analytics requirements.

Design, build, deploy and maintain data solutions enabling data-driven decisions. Document architectures and processes using industry best practices. Deliver training, support and advice to stakeholders on data interpretation and solution use.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modelling principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Skilled at producing and maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation for business requirements and technical solutions
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills, including delivering training and providing ongoing support
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams, including coordination across different time zones

  • Work with stakeholders to capture and convert operational and regulatory needs into scalable data and analytics requirements
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain data and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
  • Document solution architectures and processes, and drive continuous enhancements of existing solutions using industry best practices
  • Deliver training, support, and advice to stakeholders on interpreting data and using data and analytics solutions effectively
