Implement processes to clean, transform, and organize raw data for analysis. Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns. Create visual reports to clarify business pain points using Power BI.
Enhance data delivery and automate manual processes for efficiency. Use big data platforms like Databricks and Cloudera. Develop machine learning models and predictive algorithms to solve business problems.
Apply programming languages like Python with Pandas, Numpy, and ML packages. Communicate with clients and departments to ensure accurate project implementation. Identify and resolve problems in end-to-end processes within a global FTSE 100 company investing in advanced technologies.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in statistical/analytical project work and/or Financial services or Telco sectors
- Degree or equivalent in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, or physics
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis with Pandas, Numpy, Machine Learning packages; PySpark a plus
- Knowledge of R and SQL highly valued
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Databricks, Cloudera, and Snowflake
- Knowledge of Power BI for creating interactive dashboards
- Understanding of statistical techniques to address business issues
- Fluency in written and spoken English
