This is a software development position focused on implementing software to achieve Aurora security goals. The team handles secure design and implementation for the onboard vehicle platform and the cloud services with which the vehicle communicates.

Engineers contribute to the security architectural strategy through architecture reviews, threat models, security code reviews, and release-security processes. The core focus remains designing and developing new security frameworks and technologies for the autonomous vehicle platform.

Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of industry experience
Ability and desire to write production-quality code in C++ and Golang
Ability to work effectively with other software engineers on design and code
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
Translate product requirements into code independently
Able to write high quality production code, unit tests, and integration tests

Responsibilities

Design and develop new security components for our autonomous vehicle platform
Build and embed security components within autonomy frameworks and infrastructure frameworks
Contribute to the security architectural strategy for onboard and cloud systems
Perform architecture reviews and propose threat models for software, hardware, and services
Conduct security code reviews and support release-security activities for Aurora products
