About this role

As a Cloud Security Engineer at ADM, you will execute security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems. You will be responsible for automating security controls, data, and processes to deliver improved metrics and efficient operational support.

Your day-to-day involves providing subject matter expertise on cloud-focused information security architecture to IT and business teams. You will identify procedures for handling cloud security events, including isolation and mitigation with Threat Intel and Incident Response teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to deliver creative solutions to complex global technology and business requirements. Contribute to shaping the organization's security policies and standards for use in cloud environments.

Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls. Recognize deficiencies in the cloud environment and recommend and execute new security technologies and best practices into Cloud offerings to continuously improve security posture.

Requirements

  • Must have experience with virtualization (cloud or non-cloud).
  • Expert knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Azure.
  • Able to automate/script daily tasks through Python, Bash or equivalent.
  • Experience with web-based applications or web-services.
  • Experience with cloud foundation services related to computing, networking, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, and automation technologies.
  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, JSON, and/or other infrastructure as code technologies.
  • DevOps competency on building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Execute security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid systems.
  • Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and efficient operational support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cloud focused information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams.
  • Identify procedures for handling cloud security events, including isolation and mitigation with Threat Intel and Incident Response teams.
  • Create and maintain complete and accurate technical documentation of security services and solutions.
  • Contribute to shaping the organization's security policies and standards for cloud environments.
  • Recognize deficiencies in cloud environment and recommend and execute new security technologies and best practices into Cloud offerings.
