You will propose and develop high-impact data science projects, working closely with data, engineering, product, and business teams. Design, train, and validate statistical and machine learning models, helping deploy them into production. Participate in real-life experiments using academy-standard scientific methods to analyze results and demonstrate impact.
Join a group of highly motivated data scientists with access to all data within the organization. The team contributes to vehicle and route management, user experience, pricing, fraud detection, and marketing optimization across more than 40 cities worldwide. Work with state-of-the-art tools and infrastructure to improve everyday operations.
Convert the team’s work into tangible business insights that bring value to the company. Participate in research and innovation, bringing new ideas and expanding technical knowledge. Be a technical reference, fostering growth, promoting best practices, and diffusing complex ideas in our data culture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience working as a data scientist or equivalent research role
- Strong educational background, e.g. Master/PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, etc.
- Experience leading the design, training and validation of statistical and machine learning models
- Strong knowledge of Python for data analysis and data visualization libraries
- Experience with data extraction and processing. Capable of writing complex SQL code
- Experience bringing machine learning to production, with all its subtleties: deploying, training, testing, model degradation, model serving, etc.
- Ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environment

- Be an active participant in product development conversations, proposing new features and providing the data science perspective
- Be a technical reference within the team, fostering growth and promoting best practices
