Junior Data Engineer

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will support the Marketing Data Engineering function by executing routine data pipeline checks and validation tasks under defined scripts and runbooks. This role enables high reliability while freeing onshore engineers to focus on architecture and tooling improvements. You will be part of Axos, a digital-first financial services company.

Your daily responsibilities include monitoring scheduled data ingestion jobs (APIs, file feeds, raw sources), validating delivery completeness, and performing schema compliance checks to flag anomalies. You will also maintain pipeline documentation, assist with lineage tracking, and triage routine failures while escalating complex issues to onshore engineering.
