About this role

You lead a team of experts in Group IT-Security, reporting directly to the Head of IT-Security. With your team, you take technical responsibility for all IT security tools, operating and advancing them alongside IT-Security stakeholders. This role demands strong leadership in a dynamic banking environment.

Day-to-day involves guiding your team professionally and disciplinarily while supporting, motivating, and developing employees. You ensure 24/7 operations for critical tools through on-call participation. Additionally, you manage audits like EZB and JAP, driving implementation of agreed measures.

Your team operates within a collaborative setting at DKB, handling budgets with the Head of IT-Security to meet cost goals. You monitor relevant regulations and their evolutions. Excellent organization and stakeholder management keep operations smooth amid multiple locations.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in (Business) Informatics, Business Sciences or comparable IT-related education, ideally with IT/Information Security focus, or equivalent experience
Proven success leading operations teams
Expert in operating and developing modern IT tools, ideally IT-Security related
Knowledge of Cloud-(Security)-Technologies, especially AWS
Excellent organization, stakeholder management, independence and resilience to criticism
Keep cool head in stress situations and hold team together
Very good German and English skills in spoken and written

Responsibilities

Lead a team of experts in Group IT-Security professionally and disciplinarily, reporting to Head of IT-Security
Guide, support, motivate employees and manage their professional development
Operate and develop all IT security tools with IT-Security stakeholders
Ensure 24/7 operations for critical tools, participating in on-call duty
Manage audits (EZB, JAP, Revision etc.) and ensure implementation of agreed measures
Control budgets and costs in line with targets together with Head of IT-Security
Monitor relevant regulations and their further developments
