About this role
This role focuses on researching, designing, and implementing complex algorithms to analyze diverse data sources, leveraging statistical and predictive modeling to achieve targeted outcomes. You will build analytical machine learning solutions that predict and influence customer operating experience, particularly within the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.
Day-to-day work involves resolving complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches, identifying patterns in data through exploration and visualization techniques with tools like PowerBI, R Shiny, and SAS JMP. You will also develop applications for a Cloud-based environment and extract data from various sources using Big Data technologies including SQL, Java, Python, and C++.
You will partner with domain experts to verify model capabilities and collaborate with IT resources to enable appropriate data flow and rapid prototyping. The team environment emphasizes Agile software development methodologies to manage projects and deliver advanced analytics products that meet customer value.
This position offers the opportunity to synthesize business intelligence and trend data to support strategic recommendations, while processing and managing large data sets for vehicle and engine systems. Growth comes from tackling complex business problems and informing the design of analytical products that directly influence the industry.

- Utilize Agile software development methodologies to manage projects and deliver advanced analytics products
