About this role

Kenvue is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer reporting to the Director, Data Products. The hybrid role is based in Bengaluru and centers on data engineering and data modelling for iconic consumer brands including NEUTROGENA, AVEENO, TYLENOL, LISTERINE, JOHNSON’S and BAND-AID.

The engineer forges trusted partnerships with Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Platforms and Data Science teams. Core work includes designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a data warehouse that integrates data from multiple sources while managing migrations and troubleshooting processing issues.

Daily focus is execution and delivery of highly reliable, high-quality data pipelines that maximize business value. The role builds next-generation data and analytics capabilities inside a DevSecOps framework and works closely with Business Analytics leaders to articulate value created through data and technology.

Requirements

Data Engineering & Data Modelling expertise
Data Warehouse Development & Administration experience
Proven ability to manage data migrations, conversions and troubleshooting of processing issues
Experience delivering reliable, high-quality data pipelines
Familiarity with DevSecOps frameworks for data and analytics capabilities
Strong collaboration with Business Analytics and cross-functional data teams

Responsibilities

Forge trusted partnerships with Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Platforms and Data Science teams to adopt, scale and build data products
Design, develop, implement and maintain a data warehouse integrating data from various sources and systems
Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery and database implementation
Manage data migrations and conversions while troubleshooting data processing issues
Deliver highly reliable, high-quality data pipelines that maximize business value through data products
Build and improve next-generation data and analytics capabilities within a DevSecOps framework
Work with Business Analytics leaders to understand business needs and articulate value created through data and technology
Drive prioritization and implementation of data engineering methodologies and frameworks for optimal scalability and performance
