As a full-stack engineer in Commercial Systems, you will design, develop, and maintain applications that support high-impact business platforms at scale. The role focuses on building practical solutions that improve how Grab's commercial teams operate every day.

This onsite position in Petaling Jaya reports to the Head of Commercial Systems. You will join a diverse group of forward-thinkers committed to creating personalized IT experiences and customer-centric innovation across the organization.

The work involves architecting scalable solutions with modern technologies while staying current on emerging trends. You will contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and help shape the future of technology at Grab.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
2+ years of experience in full-stack software development with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions
Strong foundation in computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and distributed systems
Proficiency in backend languages Go, Python, or Java and expertise in APEX for Salesforce development and customization
Proficiency in leveraging AI technologies such as ClaudeCode and Cursor, integrating LLMs into business workflows, prompt engineering, and building AI-driven automation
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and server-side rendering concepts
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern technologies and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products
Develop and optimize both frontend and backend components of applications
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through proper design and implementation practices
