About this role

Encord is building the universal data layer for AI, helping over 300 AI teams train and run models on the right data. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a meaningful product area—either the core platform experience or the data curation and exploration layer—and drive it from strategy through to customer outcomes.

You will lead customer discovery, interviews, and problem validation, translating complex pain points into clear product bets. You will partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive upsell and expansion within enterprise accounts, and collaborate with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality features at pace.

Our product team is small, high-calibre, and operating in genuinely green-field territory. You will work closely with Engineering, ML, Design, and Customer Success, and play an active role in Encord's enterprise go-to-market motion.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone comfortable making independent decisions and driving them through. You don't need a playbook—you write one. Product is represented at the highest levels at Encord, and your impact will be visible and your trajectory accelerated.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years in product management, with experience seeing an organisation scale rapidly.
  • Proven experience on B2B SaaS products or technical products sold to enterprise customers.
  • You understand the enterprise sales motion, expansion, and how product decisions connect to revenue.
  • You speak in metrics and impact, not features shipped, and have worked closely with GTM teams.
  • A self-starter who makes independent decisions and drives them through.
  • Experience working with AI/ML teams or data infrastructure products is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product roadmap for your area, ensuring alignment with company goals, KPIs, and enterprise customer needs.
  • Lead customer discovery, interviews, problem validation, webinars, and demos, translating complex pain points into clear, winning product bets.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive upsell, cross-sell, and expansion within our largest enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality features at pace, writing tight specs, making clear tradeoffs, and holding a high bar for what ships.
  • Contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative product management culture.
  • Define the product strategy for your area, making independent decisions and driving them through to customer outcomes.
