About this role

The Information Security Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's information security architecture on an enterprise scale. You’ll ensure our security capabilities are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, leveraging a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, emerging threats, and advanced security technologies.

You will contribute to developing and communicating a strategic vision for global security architecture, ensuring alignment of security initiatives with business goals. Daily work involves designing comprehensive security architectures covering network, application, data, and identity protection, while identifying and assessing security risks to develop mitigation strategies.

You will evaluate and implement advanced security technologies, leveraging automation throughout the technology stack to maximize business investments. As a senior technical asset, you'll build bridges across the organization, leading with education and fostering a positive, fun environment centered on exceptional mentoring.

This role offers the chance to influence and drive change across the organization as a key strategic leader. You will ensure best practices are established in identity and access management, directly shaping the security posture of an enterprise-scale company.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture.
  • Extensive experience in engineering on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Deep understanding of on-prem and cloud-based network securities, identity management, EDR, device trust, SASE, DLP, vulnerability management, and automation strategies.
  • Experience building scalable and future-proofed solutions that embrace defense in depth.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change across an organization.
  • Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based environments.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing and communicating a strategic vision for global security architecture, aligning security initiatives with business goals.
  • Design and implement comprehensive security architectures encompassing network security, application security, data protection, and identity management.
  • Identify and assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies to reduce those risks.
  • Evaluate and implement advanced security technologies, working closely with IT teams to integrate security controls into existing and new systems.
  • Leverage automation throughout the technology stack to maximize business investments.
  • Ensure best practices are established across all facets of Identity and Access Management.
  • Build bridges throughout the organization, leading with education and building influence, while fostering a positive and fun environment with exceptional mentoring.
