About this role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives focused on modernizing and migrating applications into standardized AWS cloud environments. This role drives cloud architecture, automation, and platform engineering efforts that improve developer experience, operational efficiency, and cloud governance across enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience with AWS architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platform engineering. You will partner across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Day-to-day work centers on designing AWS cloud architectures, leading migration efforts into landing zones, and developing IaC solutions with Terraform. You will also optimize networking, identity, security, and monitoring architectures while troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

This position offers the chance to shape enterprise cloud governance and standardization initiatives. You will contribute to architecture standards, implementation frameworks, and operational documentation that support long-term modernization and cloud-native adoption.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or platform engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture patterns
Experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud landing zones and migration initiatives
Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
Experience with cloud automation, CI/CD, and platform engineering concepts
Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, security and governance controls, and monitoring best practices
Experience collaborating across infrastructure, engineering, and security organizations

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures supporting enterprise modernization initiatives
Lead migration efforts moving applications into standardized AWS cloud environments and landing zones
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and related automation tools
Partner with platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud services
Drive improvements in cloud automation, operational efficiency, and developer experience
Design and optimize cloud networking, identity, security, and monitoring architectures
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and platform issues
