About this role

As an Information Security Engineering Analyst I, you will participate in designing, implementing, and supporting IS technologies to protect data and systems. You will work with senior team members to define security requirements for new systems in line with enterprise architecture. This role provides broad exposure to information security technologies and processes.

Your daily responsibilities include providing assistance and support for endpoint security and data loss prevention solutions. You will also assist in preparing log reports for management review and participate in the Vulnerability and Threat Management program. Additionally, you will assist senior team members with data collection for root cause analysis on security incidents.

You will collaborate with experienced security professionals who guide you in translating complex technical security deficiencies into business risks. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter; managing multiple tasks according to priorities; results-oriented with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and advance skills to assume more responsibilities.
  • Experience in the vulnerability assessment lifecycle, Network Security, or Cyber Forensic investigations is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft data governance, security, and compliance tools is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with security of business data on removable storage devices, such as full disk and media encryption, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender Portal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and support for endpoint security and data loss prevention solutions.
  • Assist in preparing log reports for management review.
  • Participate in the Vulnerability and Threat Management program.
  • Assist senior team members with data collection for root cause analysis on security incidents.
  • Translate complex technical security deficiencies into business risks through effective communication.
  • Assist on proof-of-concept activities for innovation initiatives to ensure coverage of information security requirements.
  • Perform security-related duties as requested.
