About this role

PDQ, founded in Salt Lake City, makes device management simple and secure. As a Senior Product Manager on PDQ Connect's core feature set, you will refine the product roadmap and become a subject matter expert.

You will identify the most important problems through live customer research and market analysis. Collaborating with UX designers and engineers, you translate research into clear product requirements and deliver your vision.

This hybrid role requires working in office about two times per week at our South Salt Lake City headquarters. You work directly with a UX designer and engineering team, attending product development meetings to unblock progress.

You define the roadmap for your problem space and get alignment both internally and externally. You also step in to improve processes around research, development, or product delivery, and develop metrics to measure product health.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager.
  • Proven track record of launching and supporting customer-facing features or products.
  • Design literacy: able to evaluate UX quality, give meaningful design feedback, and prototype ideas independently.
  • Ownership: take responsibility for projects, drive results, and deliver on commitments.
  • Honesty: demonstrate integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior in all interactions.
  • Collaboration: work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the most important problems to solve through conducting live customer research and meeting with prospects, including market and competitor research.
  • Collaborate with design by translating research into clear product requirements, ideating on design needs, and vibe-coding prototypes under their direction.
  • Collaborate with engineering by partnering to understand feasibility and scope, writing Product Requirement Docs and user stories, and progressing from feature idea to fully shipped.
  • Define the roadmap for your problem space and get alignment both internally and externally through stakeholder management.
  • Work with teams outside product management to ensure product positioning, messaging, and product launches are smooth.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for your product, target customer, and problem space.
  • Attend recurring product development meetings to stay current on progress and unblock designers and engineers.
  • Develop and report on a list of metrics that can be used to measure product health and usage.
